This website is owned and operated by Pinewoods Antiques. This section of the website sets forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. Please read these terms carefully before you continue to use our website. Continued use of the website will constitute acceptance of these terms.
These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide items to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms please contact us to discuss.
The term "us", “our” or "we" refers to the owner of the website. The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of our website.
We are Pinewoods Antiques, our address is 64 Pinewoods Avenue, Hagley, Worcestershire DY9 0JF. 
You can contact us by writing to us at info@pinewoodsantiques.co.uk, through the ‘Contact us’ form on the website or at the above postal address.
If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or any postal address you have provided to us.
When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.
What we offer.
This website offers visitors the opportunity to view items of antique and collectible ceramics, glass and other similar pieces. By accessing or using the website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Buying from us.
Whilst we do not offer an option to purchase items for sale directly from our website, we provide an option to enquire about any items that are of interest to you. Should we subsequently agree on a purchase you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase when you commit to buy an item and complete the payment process.
The prices we charge for our items are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for items displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Any additional information about pricing is available on the payments page.
We are able to take payments through Paypal, Zettle payment link or Bank transfer. When payment is received, confirmation of your order, the item purchased and the amount of payment taken will be provided to you and a contract will come into existence between you and us. Pinewoods Antiques sells in GBP (£), for orders in currencies other than GBP (£) the price shown may increase or decrease when you complete your purchase due to real time currency conversion changes.
Items may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the items on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the item. Your item may vary slightly from those images.
We seek to describe all of our items with a high degree of accuracy but please be aware that all statements, descriptions, or condition of any item are offered as our own opinion based on research and experience. This includes, but is not limited to, the origin, date, age, provenance, condition and selling price. We strive to ensure that we provide as much honest and genuine information as possible and allow the buyer to assess from the information and images provided that they are satisfied with each and every description before purchasing. Pinewoods Antiques will not accept any liability for the correctness of such descriptions which are offered as opinions only. 
During the order process we will let you know when we will provide the items to you. We will deliver them to you as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order OR we will contact you with an estimated delivery date OR to agree a delivery date, which will be within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order.
We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the item is delayed by an event outside of our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to cancel the order and receive a refund for any items you have paid for but not received.
Collections are allowed from our premises by prior appointment only.
Cancellations and returns.
Your rights should you wish to cancel an order or return goods will depend on what you have bought, whether there is anything wrong with it, how we are performing and when you decide to cancel.
If you are cancelling because of a failure on our part, including where we have told you about an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, or if there is a risk that supply of an order may be significantly delayed because of events outside our or your control, then we will refund the purchase price of the item(s) plus the delivery costs. Should the goods have already been delivered to you we will also cover the return postage costs to the limit of the original delivery cost.
If you have a change of mind about the item, you will be able to get a refund from us if you are within the cooling-off period and notify us within that period. In this instance, upon receipt and inspection by us, we will refund the purchase price as well as the original delivery charge but this will be less any commissions charged to us by the payment platform provider. Return postage costs will not be covered, and if we are collecting the item from you, we will charge you the direct cost to us of collection.
To cancel an order or arrange for a return, please let us know by doing one of the following: 
Email us at info@pinewoodsantiques.co.uk  with your name, home address, details of the order and, where available, your phone number and email address.
Complete the form on our website.
Or simply write to us at 64 Pinewoods Avenue, Hagley, Worcestershire, DY9 0JF including details of what you bought, when you ordered or received it and your name and address.
How we will refund you. 
We will refund you by the method you used for payment upon receipt and inspection by us. However, where the refund is issued due to a change of mind, we will refund the price less commissions charged to us by the payment platform provider, or as agreed by both parties.
We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible.  If you are exercising your right to change your mind then if we have not offered to collect them, your refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which we receive the item back from you. 
Right to change what we offer.
We may, without prior notice, change the services, stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer, or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.
Indemnity.
You agree to indemnify and hold Pinewoods Antiques faultless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including legal fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.
Limitations of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pinewoods Antiques be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pinewoods Antiques assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.)
Right to change and modify terms.
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the terms. Your continued use of the website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
Accuracy of this site.
These web pages may contain inadvertent inaccuracies or typographical errors. These will be corrected at our discretion, as they are found. The information on these web pages is updated regularly, but inaccuracies may remain or occur where changes occur between updates. The internet is maintained independently at multiple sites around the world and some of the information accessed through these web pages may originate outside of our website and we exclude any obligation or responsibility for this content. All errors and omissions are excepted.
