Whitefriars Glass controlled bubble dish
This is a great example of a mid-century glass bowl produced by Whitefriars Glass. Designed by Geoffrey Baxter in the 1960's, it is pattern number 9099 and be found on page 14 of the 1969 Whitefriars catalogue. It measures just under 4 inches in diameter.
Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The base has it's polished pontil, and there are the usual signs of wear on the bottom commensurate with age.
