Royal Worcester 'Hadley Roses' footed pot-pourri dated 1908.

SKU: 178C7/38
£125.00Price

We are offering a Royal Worcester pot-pourri decorated with 'Hadley Roses'.

The decoration, originally the work of James Hadley, was produced by a number of artists, both at the Hadley factory and later at Royal Worcester. It bears the initials of James Hadley, which were still used after his death in 1903 and the purchase of the Hadley business by Worcester in 1905.

The Hadley shape number is shown with the 'H' that Worcester used to indicate one of Hadley's original designs.

Condition: The pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration except for a small frit on the underside of one foot as shown. The decoration and gilding is still in almost original condition.
