Bretby Pottery Art Deco jug
This is a striking Art Deco water jug from the factory of Bretby Pottery of Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The handpainted design shows a galleon in full sail passing a tropical island, with stylised birds flying through fluffy clouds. The base is impressed with the Bretby sunburst mark, Made in England and a pattern number of 3677.
It stands at 8.5 inches in height and 8 inches at it's widest.
Condition: The jug is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have the expected crazing for piece such as this.
